Just months before the Immortal Alliance Conference, Luo Binghe discovers the cure to Without-a-Cure. With his own heritage still sealed and mostly unknown to him, there seems to be only one solution: Shen Qingqiu must receive the cure from the last known Heavenly Demon, Tianlang-Jun, even if it means that Luo Binghe has to grit his teeth and set his precious Shizun up with another man. Shen Qingqiu does not want to receive the cure from Tianlang-Jun. He doesn't particularly want to receive anything from Tianlang-Jun. Shen Qingqiu somehow ends up fake-dating Tianlang-Jun anyway, if only to swindle the System into delaying the Endless Abyss plot for as long as he can.

not only is he shaking, but you can hear how scarred he was in his voice. while he did succeed in his mission, there were still things he 'failed' during it even though there wasn't a choice. plus, he saw imu and barely escaped the gorosei. he is shaken up by that day

and not to make things worse or anything... (as i think about this a lot and did mention it before...) imagine sabo checking luffy's vivre card and helplessly watching it burn away. when he swore- /vowed/ to be by his brother's side no matter where he was. but all is good cause luffy's alive !!

still, despite the mission's success, he couldn't do what he wanted. he couldn't save cobra and he watched lulusia disappear. he's badly injured yet when he returned, he smiles and laughs as he is happily welcomed in arms.

and mind you, sabo Is an emotional person. he was raging when he saw kuma's state during the start of reverie. and as i looked back at chapter 1085, he screams out cobra's name as he watches him die...

imagine how sabo feels in that very moment. how he feels watching someone he wanted to save die in front of him. even though cobra told him not to, sabo tried anyway but couldnt. like how he couldnt protect his brothers because he didnt remember them until it was too late

5. Did Tabris stop to talk with the children playing? If so, how did they handle the children saying they didn’t know any elven heroes?

Yeah! Hyacinth is really friendly so he definitely stopped to talk with the kids. The kids saying they didn’t know any elven heroes kinda hit him in a like ‘oh shit. You’re right. Fuck. I don’t know any either do I? Nothing off the top of my head at least.’ But instead of admitting to that, he made up a story about Tathas a sneaky elven thief who stole from the rich to give to the poor who simply disappeared one day and nobody knows for sure what happened to her. Figured it’s good to give the kids something they can really dig into fun silly imagination territory with.

7. If Tabris was kidnapped, what was their plan before Sorris showed up? If Tabris launched a rescue mission, what was their motivation to do so like?

I mean that’s his cousin. That’s his cousin Shianni who’s basically his sister. Like there’s a world where he doesn’t try to save his cousin?? And also just generally speaking the whole situation is fucked and awful, and nobody deserves to be in that position even if he doesn’t know them personally. He’s got these rogue skills he’s gonna use them. Especially after like, a life time of seeing/hearing about things like this happening, and being too young to actually do anything about it/help in any meaningful way, like… shit man. The guy doesn’t even want to get married, but he’s not just going to sit there waiting and just vaguely hope that the women get returned to them later in one piece. Like the grey area of ‘but if you do this then the humans are almost certainly going to retaliate worse’ does register. He’s not blind to it. It’s just like? He doesn’t control the choices that other people make. He controls his choices. And he was definitely a mama’s boy, he knows his mom would’ve done something. It’s not wrong to fight back against oppression. It like helps that he’s going into it fully willing to take total blame for whatever happens, and like hoping? That if he does, it’ll make the consequences for everyone else less bad? He’s not really expecting to survive, which is a different kind of fucked up for sure, he’s just hoping that maybe the humans will be satisfied if they have a guy to pin it all on and execute.

9. What was growing up in the alienage like for Tabris? How did they feel about having to leave?

Ooo this is fun. It was a mixed bag. Like Hyacinth loves and adores his family and community. So much. So so much. It’s also! A fairly small insular community, with customs around like? Adulthood being inherently related to marriage, and this ever present expectation of marriage and eventually children. And it is not that they are homophobic necessarily. It’s that the concept of queerness, the concept of someone being gay… is just literally never brought up? And so Hyacinth gets older and realizes that he’s into men, and like cannot make himself be into women. And is like ‘shit fuck hell damn there is something wrong with me’. Because his whole life he’s been shown that like reaching adulthood is synonymous with (straight)marriage. And so he’s just sitting here assuming that being gay is a him thing, and nobody else has ever had this problem(he feels…… very stupid… after meeting Zevran and Leliana and learning that this is like… super fucking normal). And so he like! Loves his family! Loves his community! And also! Lives in like constant dread of the inevitable marriage that awaits him because he knows he is not gonna be able to love that woman in the way that he’s supposed to and he feels! Really bad! About that!!! And so getting conscripted into the Grey Wardens is like. This massive weight off of his shoulders. And in the moment it’s a relief. Like the everything else about it will hit him later, but in the moment it’s this huge relief of ‘Oh wow not only am I gonna live through this, my life can be something different than that future that was laid out for me my whole life that always felt completely inescapable and terrifying.’
